Facilities Services Team Member

with Maintenance Skills|

Responsible to:  Facilities Director

Working Relationships:  Business Office, Facilities, Support to other Departments

Scope of Position: The facilities maintenance member performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and performs related duties as assigned.

 

Time Commitment:  Full-time:   40 hours/week                                   Classification: Hourly, non-exempt

 

Typical Duties: 

  • Perform general maintenance duties in the areas of Carpentry, Electrical, Lighting, Plumbing, Painting, Grounds Maintenance
  • Setup and takedown of event/ministry supplies (tables, chairs etc.)
  • Janitorial duties
  • Run errands on behalf of the Facility Services Team
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Director

 

Position Requirements: 

  • Has a heart for God and a passion to serve the KCC Mission and Vision
  • Technology tools knowledge and experience
  • Mechanical, carpentry, electrical, painting experience
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to perform typical duties
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a good driving record
  • Self-motivated, observant, good judgement and able to work independently
  • Ability to provide directions and guidance to volunteers serving in Facilities Services
